Load factor
From Open Electrical
The load factor represents the operating / duty point of a load and is defined as the ratio of the absorbed power to the rated power, i.e.
[math] LF = \frac{P_{abs}}{P_{rated}} \, [/math]
Where [math] LF \, [/math] is the load factor (pu)
- [math] P_{abs} \, [/math] is the absorbed power of the load (kW)
- [math] P_{rated} \, [/math] is the rated power of the load (kW)
